I'd like to think that Crookedstar sneaks down to the river for some alone time. At the same time, I feel like Willowbreeze's spirit is there fishing. So...I tried to draw it...it looked way better in my head... lol.
Creative title, I know? I just had just finished Crookedstar's promise when I started this picture- man, it was sad. I couldn't help but feel extremely, extremely sad about the entire story- he lost his father, mother, brother, mate, all three kits...it was just very sad.

I know! The saddest part is when his brother becomes an apprentice and everyone ignores him and says his a just a little kit. Then his mother leaves the nursey because Oakpaw had moved out, so whats the point in staying? Even before I read the book Crookedstar was my favorite cat, and the book made me like him more.
